Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) was formed in Karachi on August 02, 1950, to protect the rights of media persons. Thirteen unions of journalists across Pakistan have been associated with PFUJ, which has 11 elected office-bearers, including the President and the Secretary General.
